The Challenge

A key player in the provision of rooflight and structural glazing solutions for the commercial and public sector built environment, Xtralite tasked Rare with its marketing communications activity. With limited internal resources, Xtralite relies heavily in its external marketing partner – a challenge that Rare has met with relish.

As a key player in the rooflight industry, Xtralite originally came to Rare for the design and build of a new website. This then led on for us to create a collateral of supporting marketing material including email design and build, advertising, social media set up and management as well as a range of printed merchandise and PR support.

The Strategy

Our initial work centred on enhancing the initial brand identity and revamping the literature suite, whilst building a new website to better reflect the Xtralite market positioning and product range.

With a clear focus on the specification and contractor audiences within major built environment projects, Rare devised an integrated communications campaign, which included PR, social media, digital marketing, trade advertising, email marketing and the use of third party product directory and customer information portals.

New product launch support has helped Xtralite successfully introduce a number of new initiatives, getting information to prospective customer more quickly.

The Result

Since the new website build and creation of a carefully selected marketing suite, Xtralite have become increasingly known and established within the rooflight market, and the company continues to go form strength to strength.
