Rare has worked on a number of projects for The Right Fuelcard Company, including a brand review and update and two complex website developments, which included the creation of bespoke software tools and secure interfaces into third party e-commerce systems and databases.

The Challenge

Our most recent project was the creation of a portal solution for the launch of RightPay, a pre-paid credit card solution for small business vehicle fleets. This project required a mobile compatible web solution to act as the portal for card owners to manage their cards and users. Secure interfaces were required into third party systems to enable users to see real-time account information, including sensitive data such as card balances and usage history.

The Strategy

The RightPay card allows businesses to manage vehicle fuel purchases for multiple card users. The web solution manages credit account top-ups and provides various interest-free pricing solutions.

Members control their card accounts online and comprehensive reporting options allow account administrators to monitor individual users, measure fleet efficiency and budget for their spending on fuel. Multiple views are available, such as average daily spend, feul top-up location history and card balances.

Card users can also access a number of tools to assist journey planning and locate participating fuel stations which accept the RightPay card.

The Result

The site has proved to be a huge success, with the RightPay card now accepted at over 1,800 fuel stations.

The comprehensive content management system has allowed the client marketing department to regularly update the site to keep the site fresh and up to date, and the success of RightPay continues to grow.
