The Challenge

Following a change of ownership at Four D Rubber, a leading manufacturer of latex materials and products for global markets, Rare was asked to undertake a complete rebrand to help position the business for expansion and growth. The new brand was then used to design and build a new website and to develop a suite of digital and printed marketing materials.

The Strategy

Adopting a strategically-led approach, our first task was a comprehensive market and competitor analysis and a series of consultative workshops. Using the insight gained to shape the project direction, we set out to create a modern and vibrant brand identity, which would position 4D as the global technology leader in rubber and latex manufacturing.

Through the ensuing creative process, we designed the brand assets and marketing suite and built a new website to showcase the 4D Rubber product range, segmented across their diverse audience groups.

After completing the project for the main 4D brand, we turned to Supatex, which is the 4D brand for the fashion market. This brand was also modernised and a new, modern e-commerce site developed.

The Result

The new brands and websites were positively received across the customer base and the implementation of a social media and digital marketing platform backed with training and guidance to the in-house team have ensured a strong market presence is already being built.

Testimony to the success of the initial work, Rare continues to support 4D with a number of follow-up projects, including a bespoke product database and network of websites, and the branding and launch of new product initiatives.
