Rare campaign wins national award!
28/11/2011
Rare's campaign to promote Planitherm as the UK's most energy efficient window glass on behalf of Saint-Gobain Glass was recognised on Friday evening as the Promotional Campaign of the Year at the G11 Glass Industry Awards.
Hosted by TV comedian Sean Lock, the annual awards evening saw over 600 people gather at London's Hilton on Park Lane to honour excellence within the glass industry. The Planitherm campaign held off strong competition to win the award for the best marketing campaign for the glass trade.
Rare has been working on Planitherm for Saint-Gobain Glass UK for more than a year and has delivered a wide range of services for the integrated campaign including branding, literature and point of sale development, direct mail to recruit a nationwide installer network, e-newsletters and bulletins, installer sales tools, advertising (TV, radio and press), competitions and PR. The centrepiece of the campaign is the creation of Pam and Fern, two friendly but rival neighbours, who feature in the TV advertising campaign.
